• Thorn Ericsson has taken delivery of three new Leyland Daf 16.15 Freighters. The four-wheel dropsiders were supplied by BRS Midlands and BRS Northern and will be operated under contract hire through BRS Northern. _ contract includes all maintenance, repairs, vehicle routeing and the provision of drivers to operate out of Thorn Ericsson's Scunthorpe site. The vehicles will each cover around 80,000km annually, delivering digital telephone exchange equipment to British Telecom.
