Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

A HEAVY-DUTY six-wheeler with I—I single-drive rear bogie is expected to be exhibited by Sentinel (Shrewsbury), Ltd., in the demonstration park at. Earls Court this month. This is a maximum capacity vehicle with a Sentinel six-cylindered oil engine and five-speed gearbox. The chassis is primarily designed for the export market and is fitted with air brakes.

The engine develops 120 b.h.p. at 1,900 r.p.m., the governed speed having been increased by 100 r.p.m. without a change in the power output. A David Brown 557 gearbox is mounted as a unit with the engine in the norma Sentinel underfloor position.

Four-spring suspension is used foi the rear axle, the rocking beams beirq pivoted so as to give a ratio of 5 to 7. with the greater loading on the drivin axle. This axle is similar to that used in. the export trailer model and has au overhead-worm drive with a reductior ratio of 7.75 to I.

Clayton Dewandre air braking it fitted, with a separate power cylindei to each brake cam. Marks heavy-duq 861 cam-and-double-roller steering geai is employed, and the front wheels cam (14-ply) tyres. The twir rear tyres on both axles of the bogie are 9.00-20 in. (12 ply). The wheelbase it 16 ft. 91 in. and the vehicle is suitablc for a gross weight of 19 tons.
