Label values can vary widely between different models of a tyre, even at the same wheel size. For instance, one steer-axle tyre — Goodyear's Regional RHS II 22.5— gets significantly different label ratings depending on the precise model.
There are 16 versions with different widths and load ratings, from 275/70 to 385/65, which get label values of either B or C for rolling resistance, A or B for wet grip and between 69dB and 72dB for noise — that is a doubling of sound energy, although a small change in the perceived sound level.
