Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

TACHOGRAPH ANALYSIS company Tachodisc and telematics supplier CMS SupaTrak have struck an alliance, called TachoMax, to provide an integrated way of managing both drivers and vehicles.

The combination of telematics and Tachodisc's tachograph analysis software gives operators visibility of their drivers' hours status on the same vehicle-tracking screen that shows a vehicle's position. The key to this is

remote downloading of tachograph data via the CMS SupaTrak system, which gives the operator the latest information on each driver's duty hours as well as rest periods.

Similarly, driver and vehicle performance reports can be configured to include tachograph and hours information as well. "TachoMax combines the expertise of the two market leaders in their respective fields of compliance software and vehicle telematics, to provide the industry with a best of breed integrated solution," said Tachodisc MD

Karen Crispe.

"By integrating these systems, operators also benefit from being able to access a wealth of business-critical information relating to a driver's behaviour, fuel consumption and the vehicle," she continued.
