Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Citroen's "mini-Sevel" panel van, the Dispatch, is now available in the UK with a 2.2-tonne GVW, a 740kg payload and 4.0m3 load volume. It is essentially the same as Fiat's Scudo and Peugeot's Expert with a few minor differences to the standard equipment.

There are two diesel engine options and the Dispatch is also available with windows as an after-market minibus conversion.

CM recently tested a near-identical Fiat Scudo (CM 12-18 September).

Judging by those figures the naturally aspirated Dispatch is likely to return about 35.5mpg (7.91it/100km) laden and 38.5mpg (7.3lit/100km) unladen.

The Dispatch fits into Citroen's range between the soon-to-be-available Berlingo high-cube van and the Relay panel van.

It is being marketed on the strength of its car-like driveability and dimensions.

Citroen hopes the new modelwill be popular with small retailers, service engineers and the van-hire sector.
