• The result of a wages ballot of 11,000 Parcelforce employees will be "finely balanced", according to the Union of Communication Workers which has urged rejection of the pay offer. (CM 19-26 Sept).
The UCW will announce its members' decision tomorrow (11 October) and is hoping its recommendation to turn down 4% plus £210 in lump sum payments will be heeded.
