• Two rigid tippers, owned by a firm based in the Cardiff area, have been seized by Customs officers for using red diesel fuel.
The trucks are in a police pound after being discovered in a routine check.
But a Customs spokesman says the case is unlikely to go to court. Instead the company is expected to be fined by Customs for the offence, and to be charged the duty it should have paid. It will also have to pay for its vehicles to be released.
