ou've seen the movie now carry the cargo. Straight from The Swarm, the killer bees of South Texas are hitching rides northwards to cooler climes.

African Honey Bees, to give them their correct name, have been sneaking lifts with unsuspecting truck drivers hauling freight out of the state, according to Paul Jackson, chief inspector for the Texas Apiary Inspection Service (bee checkers to you).

Jackson, reports US transport journal Transport Topics, is warning all drivers to check their vehicles for stowaways before setting off. The pests like to hide in spare tyres and underneath trailers, It seems that the imported bees have been working their way
