• Allenways Coaches of Birmingham has been given seven days to pay £4,100 worth of outstanding drivers' hours fines (CM27 June-3 July).
West Midland Traffic Commissioner John Mervyn Pugh has warned the company that its 0-licence could be revoked, along with that of associated company Claribel Coaches.
A disciplinary hearing has been adjourned until the end of the month.
The firm had encountered financial problems after one of its coaches was involved in a fatal accident in the Soviet Union; the driver had failed to take out insurance and Allenways had to pay £4,000 to get its driver released from custody.
