• Teesside Motor Services has bought the first two Vectas from Leeds-based manufacturer Optare, which launched the MANpowered citybus eight months ago (CM 14-20 March).
The 10m buses, based on MAN's 11.180 chassis, should be operating on town services by December_ Reading Buses has ordered three of Optare's new doubledeckers which will debut at Coach & Bus '91.
