• City Link has appointed two new franchisees and launched a lightweight parcels delivery service.
Mectax Holdings is the new franchisee in Dundee, which it has covered for several years as a subcontractor. A new company, Abbott Enterprises, will handle the company's business in Dunfermline.
So far 11 franchisees have been taken on this year and City Link is seeking partners in the West Country and East Anglia.
The letter-sized delivery service for packages up to 5kg is designed to be a low-cost alternative to Linkletter.
