• Truck Services of Witney, Oxfordshire's biggest MANVolkswagen CV dealership, has been saved from closure by a last-minute takeover by Cordwallis Commercials, the South's largest MAN-VW agent.
Cordwallis is better known as HW Thomas & Son, the trading name for its businesses at Maidenhead and Heathrow. For the time being it will continue to run Truck Services from its site at Brize Norton Road but there are plans to move to new, purposebuilt premises soon.
