VAUXHALL MOTORS held a golden jubilee anniversary rally last weekend to mark the first 50 years of Bedford commercial vehicle production at Luton.
Almost 100 privately owned models dating back to 1931 contributed to the largest ever gathering of early Bedford commercial vehicles.
More than three million have been manufactured at the plant; about 50 per cent were exported.
