DESIGNED to carry payloads of 16i tons, 18 Eagle semi-trailers with Andre air suspension are to be supplied to Reed Transport, Ltd., and Cropper and Colthrop Transport, Ltd., an associate. Other features include a Davies fifth wheel undercarriage with rapid winddown gear of high-tensile light alloy. Avon and Firestone tubeless tyres will be fitted. The levelling valves are of Clayton Dewandre manufacture.

Fourteen semi-trailers will be used by Reed Transport under C licence and four by Cropper and Colthrop under special-A licence.
