DHL is to close three DCs following the opening of Morrisons’ £90m Bridgwater, Somerset, RDC. A fourth site, operated by Norbert Dentressangle (ND), is also affected. Operations at the three DHL sites – Droitwich, South Marston and Yate –will be consolidated into the new South-West facility. Droitwich will close first, with 330 DHL jobs at risk. Approximately 280 ND staff will be transferred to DHL under TUPE.
