• Dennis Specialist Vehicles has supplied a 6x4 fire appliance to a toy factory in South China.
The DFD2424 which will serve the Playwell plant and its attached residential complex in Guangdong Province is a heavy-duty snorkel with a 240hp Cummins engine driving through an Allison automatic
gearbox. It has a capacity of 3.400 litres of water and 200 litres of foam, a Godiva pump and a Simon Snorkel SCA200 hydraulic platform with a maximum height of 22m.
Training and maintenance will be supplied by Dennis staff based in Hong Kong—the company is the largest supplier of fire appliances to the area.
