Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• Shanks & McEwan has bought two newly-designed waste-collection trucks from DME which not only lift bins, but also open and close their lids to prevent wind scatter.

One is a MacRel 30T equipped with a 1,100-litre wheeled bin lifter and rear stabiliser; the other is a MacLoad 24T with a 120-1,100-litre lifter.

The DME lifter can vary the speed of operation to suit working conditions: when the lifter and lid opener are not in use they can be moved out of the way pneumatically, allowing larger containers to be raised by the lift arms and emptied. The MacRel can be used for industrial waste, handling 1114m3 containers on site, as well as backing up the MacLoad for trade waste.
