Airebus had already ordered MCW Metroriders in prepaion, and a substantial part of order was due to be delired to Leeds when the hear ing took place. After talks with the West Yorkshire PTE, the Authority has re-awarded all the contracts for minibus routes in Leeds to Yorkshire Rider, which has run the routes from their inception. Yorkshire Rider also took most of the newlyqualified minibus drivers trained by SUT.
Airebus has been left with a conventional set of routes and 16 single and double-deckers to run services in the Leeds and Bradford areas.
