Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

BEDFORD and Leyland are leaning over sideways to sell more lorries and USG are leaning over sideways to sell more diff locks!

Perhaps "The Hawk" (CM October 27) might like sight of the photo I had knocked up some months ago as one of our aids to selling diff locks.

As you know, we have got the marketing rights for UK for the "NoSpin" unit and have been marketing it for Detroit Automotive for some many years. Without this diff lock this little trick is not possible unless, of course, you weld up the diff and make it a permanent solid drive. The disadvantage of this, of course, is that you really cannot drive these vehicles on the road and therefore have to transport them — hence, that is why Steve used our diff lock in all his vehicles and as a result he is able to drive them not only on two wheels but also to all his events around the country on four wheels.

Vauxhall's slogan

announcement of their new Astra is:

Remember we got there first This goes for Bedford on the two wheel act as well, perhaps Leyland might like a slogan for their advert:

Now we follow Bedford

It might interest you to know that we sponsor Steve Street and have our name on all his vehicles.

Up the Royals.
