on school contract routes has been given a limited volume of customer support, according to one of the contractors.
Kian Creighton of Annan, operating an Annan to Ecciefecgan route, taking in a range of small centres on two different routes, has reported: "No one seems to want this service running at times with one passenger. Rural residents appear to have organised alternative means of transport and are less concerned about the buses than is the local authority."
