OVERDRIVE is to be a standard feature on all new Ford Transit Custom minibuses. The electrically operated overdrive has a ratio of 0.778 to 1 and provides an improvement in fuel economy of up to 10 per cent.
Custom Transit minibuses are available in 12 or 15-seat form with either a two-litre petrol engine or the new 2.5-litre direct injection diesel.
