BUS AND Coach Training, an off-shoot of the Bus and Coach Council, was inaugurated by Geoffrey Holland, director of the Manpower Services Commission, at the West Midlands PTE's Moseley Road training centre in Birmingham last week.
BCT is a new company launched as a result of the disengaging of the bus and coach industry from the Road Transport Industry Training Board. The WMPTE training centre is to be the location of a BCT "skill testing service" where bus industry trainees will be assessed and awarded relevant certificates.
