Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

NATIONAL TRAVEL is pulling out of operating coaches for the international express coach services under the Euroways banner.

Euroways, subsidiary of the Barr and Wallace Trust is the name under which many of the international coach services from the UK operate. Wallace Arnold and National Travel are the two British partners who share the operating mileage and revenue with several European partners who also operate the services.

In the past, Wallace Arnold and National have both provided coaches and operated departures. But for 1980 National Travel has told its Euroways partners that it will not be operating any vehicles on the routes, leaving Wallace Arnold as the sole UK partner actively providing services.

National will continue to act as agents for Euroways and sell tickets. Also, UK services will still depart and arrive from the National-owned London Victoria coach terminal.

Although National would not comment on the move, a spokesman for Wallace Arnold assumed it was "a business decision" by National. Wallace Arnold could take the place of National and was planning on operating all the planned UK departures together with the European Euroways partners.

Among the Euroways services are London-Rome, London-Barcelona and the much publicised service to Moscow.
