Stevens, already a member of the London office staff, has been appointed manager. • In contrast to Scotland, the London Transport Executive will be streamlined when Kenneth Robinson retires at the end of the year. The number of full-time members on the Executive will be cut by two and made up by an increase in its part-time membership.
John Phelps has moved from Midland Red where he was chief engineer, to become regional chief engineer at NBC. He is responsbile for the West, the Midlands, the Marches and Wales.

J. Moore, commercial director Ruston Diesels Ltd, is the new chairman of the British Internal Combustion Engine Manufacturers' Association. The new vice-chairman is M. Lewis, Deputy chairman and managing director of R. A. Lister & Co.
Bob Lucas has been appointed general manager of Lucas CAV Ltd, following A. K. Gill's promotion to divisional managing director of Joseph Lucas Ltd. Reg Hennery, formerly manufacturing director at Lucas CAV, is the new deputy general manager.

Mr Wordsworth joins the GKN Group from Hawker Siddeley where he was managing director and deputy chairman of Electricars Ltd.
