Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

• A converter dolly with an automatic coupling has been introduced by York Trailers. Designated the AD7 and plated to 7.5 tons, it has a rolled steel channel frame, profiled and swept rearward to form runners. York uses the Hands Neway coupler which, it is claimed, will accommodate both Scammell and Taskers automatic coupling semi-trailers.

The fixed "A" frame has a 40mm diameter towing eye located 6ft 6m. forward of the axle centre line. A 6501b capacity wind-down jockey leg is fitted for height setting the "A" frame when coupling. The unit is mounted on York Harco single-axle, multi-leaf spring suspension and York axle. A three-line air system, including reservoir and relay valve, powers the 15.5in. x 7in. S-cam actuated brakes at each wheel. Tyres are 8.25-20 14-ply mounted in twin formation.
