COMMERCIAL MOTOR.

AThe term "market value" implies an average figure and it is unlikely that there was a sufficient number of this particular type

of vehicle for sale 12 years after manufacture to provide a genuine averagefigure, particularly as this period included the second World War.

Isolated examples of a particular sale value could have been dependent on entirely fortuitous circumstances. And because of inflation throughout this period and the change in the value of the pound compared with present-day values, there would be little relevance in the respective values for 1937 and 1949 even if these were obtainable.
