Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

THE development of group transport has for the moment been halted due, no doubt, to the Government's pending legislation. But if free enterprise haulage continues on any scale, then certainly the group method seems the only feasible one. I found that managements were able to be more adventurous in their thinking and that operators within the group knew little difference except that when they required money for some justifiable expenditure it was available, whereas in the past progress had often to be halted because of lack of capital.

The employees of the groups feel that in strength they are more secure, that one disadvantage of a family business can be that when an enthusiastic proprietor dies a less enthusiastic son may dispose of the business with little regard for the employees.

I found that on all sides group working is accepted as being the method of operation of the future. Everyone enjoys its benefits and not least among these is the security which it offers, to both employer and employee.
