DETAILS have been released of the bodywork with which 120 Leyland Royal Tigers will be fitted for Ribble Motor Services, Ltd. These coaches will carry 41 people even with 1 ins, extra spacing between each seat.
A prominent feature of the body is a glazed waist panel which extends beneath the windscreen and the first two windows on each side.. Louvred ventilation intakes are incorporated on each side of the destination indicator_ and intakes for the heating system are placed just below the waist rails halfway along both sides.
