THE Road Haulage Association has asked the Ministry of Transport to investigate the anomaly whereby trailer tax has to be paid when sack loaders are towed behind Aor B-licence vehicles, whereas no tax is payable when a private car or a farmer's vehicle taxed at the preferential rate, is used.
