THE Road Haulage Association is to meet the National Farmers' Union, next week, to discuss the activities of farmer C-licensees. Hauliers in agricultural areas are disturbed by the growing practice of purchasing a small plot of land, thereby enabling the owner to call himself a farmer and carry for neighbouring farmers under a C licence.
