4-) Transport Corporation will be taken over and operated by the Bombay Government, said Mr. Morarji Desai, Minister of Home Affairs, recently. The corporation has been declared an illegal body by the Bombay High Court.
It will cease functioning until legal remedies are devised and the Indian Government enacts fresh legislation in place of the Transport Corporation Act, held void by the High Court.,
