Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

IT is understood that the British Transport Commission is to order 200 Bristol eight-wheelers. It is likely that the complete chassis will follow conventional eight-wheeler practice, and the cabs and bodies will be constructed of light alloys. By considering the use of light-alloy bodies, the B.T.C. is obviously out to obtain maximum load capacity. Inquiries have been made regarding the weight and maintenance of a platform-type body.

News of this project was first announced in "The Commercial Motor" on March 17 last. In September it was officially stated that the prototype would be completed early in 1451.
