iT is reported that Mr. E. W. Davies, manager of the British Road Services depot at Sheepcote Street, Birmingham, which is 'to be closed, tendered his resignation when he learned that the men employed there were to be split up among other depots. The men struck work.

The 80 drivers and mechanics arc now to be transferred en bloc to Digbeth, although volunteers may move to other groups.
