Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

NORTH YORKSHIRE police want to hear from two truck drivers who may have witnessed a fatal crash.

The accident happened on the Al northbound at Middleton Quernhow at 11.45arn on 30 April

after a Foden tractor unit hauling a red curtain-sided trailer pulled out from a lay-by. The truck was building up speed when a yellow and blue Ford pickup in the livery of HSS Hire hit the rear of the trailer. The pickup driver was airlifted to James Cook Hospital in Middlesbrough where he died of his injuries. The truck driver was unhurt.

Police want to talk to two other truck drivers who were passing at the time. It is understood the two trucks flashed the other LGV to indicate the road was clear before moving into lane two.

• The two truck drivers should contact Traffic Constable Graham Waller on 0845 606247.
