• Express Foods subsidiary Coldstream Distribution has bought Warwickshire milk transporter C Blake & Sons for more than 20.5m.
Blake, which operates exfarm and re-load milk haulage exclusively for the Milk Marketing Board, has a turnover of around Lim and em ploys 20. Its fleet comprises 15 bulk ex-farm milk collection vehicles and six tankers.
Coldstream Distribution's tanking director John Williams says this "represents a further step in our development within this sector of the market", where Coldstream plans to expand further.
