• The Kent-based Hot Group and Eaton are to foi new company to make and power steering pumps for world automotive industry.
Hobourn-Eaton Steering be owned equally by the h parent companies and may create up to 200 new jobs Hobourn's Strood factory.
It is planned to have the new production line fully operational in 1987.
Its range of power assisi steering pumps will initially dude units already manufa, tured by the Hoboum Groi under the Hobourn-Eaton name and under licence frc the Eaton Corporation.
