According to Green, the guidance on training on handling dangerous goods was the most difficult section of the handbook to put together. He therefore decided to gain qualifications as a Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor to help him understand the regulations better. “When compiling the book, I realised I hadn’t had enough training in this area, and needed to know more,” he says. “There is more equipment involved and the rules can be more complicated.”
