FEARS that growing apathy among members of the RHA's car transporter group might lead to its disbandment were dispelled this week at its a.g.m.

Last year matters came to a head when the labour relations committee refused to accept the group's proposals for the formation of a special car transporter sub-committee of the National Negotiating Committee.

But on Tuesday the group discussed its future and decided to carry on. Re-elected chairman was Mr. R. H. Barnett, who will also be the National Executive Council representative. Reelected vice-chairmen were Mr. S. T. Alton and Mr. G. Coiling.
