THREE more bus companies have
• been taken over by the British Transport Commission. Between them, they operate 184 buses and 96 goods vehicles. The companies: are Youngs' Bus Service, Ltd., Paisley, Paisley and District Omnibus Co., Ltd., and James Sutherland (Peterhead), Ltd.
.Youngs' operates 80 buses on services from Glasgow to Johnston, Largs and West Kilbride and in Largs.
The Paisley company is an associate of Youngs' and has 22 buses working locally in Paisley and on a service from Paisley to Renfrew Ferry.
James Sutherland (Peterhead), Ltd., rans 82 buses and coaches, and is the principal operator of road passenger transport in North-east Aberdeenshire. Scottish, Omnibuses, Ltd., will 'operate these companies' services.
The haulage business of • James Sutherland will also be taken over by the B.T.C. and run by the Road Haulage Execiitive. Ninety-six vehicles are involved.
