Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

IF you are in the habit of visiting Waterloo railway station you will have an opportunity of looking around the railways' "square deal" maze. You cannot miss this stupendous attraction because the 6' show" is staged outside the main booking hall. The gaily coloured structure is labelled "Fighting for Freedom—an Exhibition of Dramatic Photographs."

On entering, the drama is at once revealed—for a panel of photographs of the railways' directorate confronts you. Then there is a model of the .&I32 famous Rocket, from which, you will learn, all the bigger Rockets sprang.

In and out you go—on this panel complicated statistics and on the next a gruesome court scene labelled the Railway Rates Tribunal.

By the time the maze is completed, handkerchiefs are in evidence, for a significant red arrow winds its sinuous way to the bankruptcy court.

Which is all very tragic, but, so far as we can see, tells the public just nothing of the real issue. What a " show " road transport could put up!
