HAULIER BRIAN Yeardley is hanging up his boots more than three decades after he set up his international haulage business with his wife Sandra.
Yeardley started Brian Yeardley Conti
nentai in Pontefract, West Yorks, in 1975 with just one Foden, steadily growing the business to 120 vehicles at one paint, which criss-crossed Europe supplying industries involved in plastics, chemicals, automotive parts and white goods. He is succeeded by his operations director Kevin Hopper (pictured right, with Yeardley), but he and his wife remain majority shareholders.
