The number of UK-registered vehicles travelling to the Continent rose by 3% between the fourth quarter of 2003 and the first quarter of this year to 118,200. But this was 3% lower than a year earlier. The UK's share of the market now stands at 25% compared with 46% for the same period in 1993.
