Ma. T. C. COURTNEY is IO be chairman of Coras ionnpair Eireann for the next five years. Other members will be MR. D. L. DALY, MR. P. J. FLOYD, MR. E. H. MURPHY, MR. W. MURPHY and MR. J. T. O'FARRELL. These members have been re-appointed. A new appointment is that of Ma. L.

MR. HERBERT W000 has been elected a life member of the National Employers' Association of Vehicle Builders. He is a past-president and has been a member of the executive council, and chairman of the Bolton branch. MR. W. PINCHES has retired from the secretaryship of the Bolton branch of the N.E.A.V.B., a post he held for over 40 years.
MR. A. E. C. DENT has been appointed road motor engineer of British Railways (London Midland Region). He is chairman of the railways' road motor engineering committee and acts between the British Transport Commission and the road motor engineering services of the railway regions. He began his career with the Great Western Railway in 1911. . Am. E. N. SELBY has been nominated for election as vice-president of the Municipal Passenger Transport Association.
MR. A. R. H. Hotta has retired from his position as London district manager of Leyland Motors, Ltd., after 411 years' service. He retains his connection with the company.
MR. H. REEVE, son of M. J. M. REEVE, immediate past-president of the National Employers' Association of Vehicle Builders, has joined the executive staff of Reeve and Kenning, Ltd.
MR. J. W. DAVEY is to become traffic manager of Alm Cars Continental Coach Cruises, Ltd. For the past six years he has been tours and publicity officer of the East Kent Road Car Co.. Ltd.
MR. A. L. WATERFALL has been re-elected chairman of the Yorkshire region of the Institute of the Motor Industry. The vice-chairman is MR. F. J. HALL and the honorary secretary, Ma. F. LOCKWOOD..
Ma. C. N. CHRISTENSEN, Midland Divisional manager of British Road Services, has been appointed a member of the East Midland and West Midland Transport Users' Consultative Committees in place of SIR REGINALD KERR, who has resigned. MR.. L. IL BALLS, general manager of the Eastern Counties Omnibus Co., Ltd., has been appointed a member of the East Anglian committee in succession to MR. C H. S. PICKETT, Who has resigned.
