GU Events, the company behind the recent Tip-Ex tipper show, is turning its attention to the tanker sector with the launch of a new exhibition later this year. Tank-Ex will take place at Donington Park, Castle Donington, Derbyshire on 8-10 October.

According to G&T, more than 80% of the available space has been taken up by tankermakers who have been looking forward to a specialist show dedicated solely to their industry something that has been missing in the UK for nearly 10 years.

Entry to the event will be free, as will parking; visitors will receive a high-quality show guide for £1, and the money raised is being

donated to the motor trade charity, BEN. 'A clear demand has emerged from the tanker industry for a dedicated stand-alone show," says G&T Events director Dave Tallent.

"The tanker business is very specialised and Tank-Ex is designed to give exhibitors the opportunity to show their wares to their target audience in first-class facilities in a very convenient location," he adds.

"The new show is aimed specifically at operators of all kinds of road tanks, from petroleum and other hazardous goods through powder to waste."
