the city's buses has been replaced, temporarily, by a request. From Monday (July 6) the Corporation's 1,400 vehicles carry the following top-deck notice: " In the interests of health and for the greater convenience of everyone, passengers are requested to refrain from smoking". As we went to press a staff man who travels six miles daily on the Corporation's buses reported seeing only one smoker— a considerable reduction.
