Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

ATANDEM-AXLE semi-trailer with a body conforming to TER specification is now offered by Seammell Lorries Ltd. The body has a canvas tilt and a removable structure of hoops and side and roof slats which fits into the posts of drop sides. The whole superstructure can he fitted and dismantled, it is claimed, within a few minutes.

There are four side hoards along each

side and these also can be removed and carried in a special rack below the chassis frame. This storage facility is an optional extra and allows the unit to be used as a flat platform semi-trailer as well as a sided vehicle or with the full TIR body.

The lower edges of the tilt are secured to staples mounted in slides on the side and tail boards and these allow up to 12 in, movement so that variations of I ft. in body height are obtainable. The semi-trailer is 26 ft. long, 8 ft. wide and provides 7 ft. 6 in. height under the tilt frame. The headboard is built up to the height of the tilt and has corner and centre strengthening supports. A standard floor is of 6 in. by 1.25 in. hardwood.

All types and sizes of Scammell semitrailer can be fitted with a T1R body of the same type.
