Which of the following most accurately describes the problem?

Okay then...tlie 564,000 question: how was the fuel consumption? In a word, outstanding: the Cargo returned a superb ./9.2rupg fully laden round our tough Welsh route. This is o.8mpg better than the Euro-2 model (which sported a similar body) and second only (by just o.impg) to Daf's Euro-2 45.160. The Iveco's A-road fuel consumption was an outright record, breaking the zompg barrier.

Its average speed was slightly lower than the Euro-z class leaders, but this reflects increasing traffic levels more than anything else. This is the first Euro-3 truck we've tested at this weight, but the Cargo's result immediately sets a tough standard for the rest of the market.

The second question is always going to concern payload, and here too the Cargo does well: a body/payload allowance of 4.39 tonnes gives the potential of 3.5 tonnes of practical payload. These figures are always a bone of contention between manufacturers and, tantalisingly, Oaf's provisional spec sheet for the LF45 indicates that a similarly specced 17ohp model tips the scales at just 24kg more than the Iveco. It really is too close to call, which reflects the ferocious level of competition.

With its improved service intervals and diagnostics, the Cargo holds out the promise of impressively low-cost operation too.
