The men were caught in the act of cutting up several stolen trucks at their yard in Hoo, near the Isle of Grain, on Friday, December 20, 1986.
Parts from trucks stolen from Len Grimwood (see Commercial Motor, December 20, 1986) and Harvel Tipping Services (see Commercial Motor, December 13, 1986) were identified in the yard at Hoo. A number of other trucks were in the yard at the time of arrest.
