• When the Transport Act 1968 became law an announcement was made that tne Road Traffic Regulation Act 1967 would be reprinted in order to show clearly the effect on it of Part IX of the new Act. This is provided for in section 133 of the Transport Act. Copies of the reprinted Act are now available from HMSO. priced lOs 6d.
The changes are not yet in force. The corn mencement order needed to make them effective will be made by the early spring. Until then the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1967 in its original form, together with the various current procedure regulations, remain fully in force.
