HOLLIDAY, formerly joint managing director, is now managing director. A native of Kilmarnock, Mr. McColl joined the company in 1905 in a junior capacity, and 14 years later was elected to a seat on the board.
MR. T. C. NEWBOUND, who has recently been appointed technical engineer to the Australian branch of Leyland Motors, Ltd., sailed for Sydney on January 4.
MR. J. C. IVENS, a director of R. M. Wright and Co., Lincoln, has been elected chairman of the Lincolnshire section of the Motor Agents' Association, in succession to Mr. E. P. Shurety, general manager of Lincolnia Motor Co., Ltd., Lincoln, who has been elected deputy-chairman.

MR. WILLIAM FORBES, Juiett., assistant civil engineer to the engineerin-chief of the London and NorthEastern Railway (Scottish Area), at Edinburgh, has been appointed by Cardiff Transport Committee as technical engineering assistant in the municipal transport department.
Mr. Forbes, who is 31 years of age„ is the son of Mr. William ForbesH„ Cardiff's general manager. He w,as,,, trained in the transport and city engineer's departments at Aberdeen.
